One thing before I get going: this time, nothing went wrong! I had my second big appearance yesterday, at the Brandenburg Summer Evening party. I had sent my lads home extra early because I wanted to be there in good time to shake Mr Platzeck's hand. The prime minister himself had invited me to the party at Krongut Bornstedt in Potsdam. It was a sultry evening, cloudy with intermittent showers, but the atmosphere was good. Over 3000 guests from the worlds of politics, business and culture had thronged to this magnificent stately home – and there I was, right in the middle of them. Back in the limelight again. In high ant spirits, I chatted with lots of people about my favourite subject, the BBI, until far into the night. They were all mad about me – or maybe about the BBI? At any rate, it was a pity that Antonia, my girlfriend, wasn't there. How can she bear to miss out on a fantastic party like this? Instead of malt beer, I stuck to the Bionade they were serving at the Berlin Airports stand. People came, drank and took a good look round – after all, we had much more to offer than organic lemonade.
