I am absolutely worn out. Only four days to go to the AirportRun and I'm getting more and more nervous. If I don't manage it, how will my lads see me? As a weakling and a loser? But no, mustn't think about that, I'll do it. I have already decided on my plan of action and I know it will pay off in the end. I have to run the first ten kilometres at a slow and consistent pace, speed up over the next ten and then really put my foot down and draw on my last energy reserves on the final stretch. Oh yes, and talking about energy reserves, last week, when I was out training, I ran past the new Schoenefeld South substation. It's colossal! No wonder, really, it already supplies all the electricity for Schoenefeld Airport. And in future, it will be supplying the BBI, too. We put 11 kilometres of high-voltage lines into operation for that. Eleven kilometres – that's a half-marathon. And I've got to run twice the distance ... on Saturday ... in four days' time. No, not to worry, everything will be fine.
