I’m really beginning to wonder how much longer this is going to go on. Every morning, really every morning, while I’m slurping a leisurely honeydew for breakfast, I read the same old weather report: clouds, cool sea air, showers. A “cloudy with patches of sunshine” makes a big exception. Antonia, my meteorosensitive girlfriend, has turned into a bit of a bad-weather zone herself. At any rate, this morning – the rain was pouring down yet again – I slipped away to see my co-workers at airportworld. I pay them a visit from time to time. After all, they want to know what’s going on on the construction site, too. They are the people to ask if you want to know anything at all about the BBI, and they also guide visitors around our fantastic BBI exhibition – which is truly fascinating. There are some super notice boards giving details of the construction work in progress at the BBI and showing how the airport will work in future. They are definitely not to be missed. Oh yes, and I haven’t even mentioned the best thing the exhibition has to offer: a gigantic wooden model of the BBI! What better way to form a picture of our new airport?
