Could you please inform us as to whether mobile lights are to be used to carry out the project referred to or whether the airport lighting comprises fixed, mains-operated systems?

Mobile lights are not part of the original service advertised. It may well be that temporary mobile lights have to be used during interim stages of construction. However, this will only occur if such requirements are made on the part of the regulatory authority during the course of construction. Implementation is then a matter for the contractor.

Regarding the planned scope of services for this tendering process, we refer to the official publication, namely the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. The requirements to be fulfilled in connection with the bidder’s application to participate (declarations and supporting documents) are to be taken from this. Following successful participation in the competition, selected bidders will be asked to submit an offer and will receive the relevant service specifications for this.

Under III.2.3) Technical capability, item 1.4, references are required for the following type of service: Setting up hydrant systems at airports, pipeline diameter >= DN 400; capability: >= 600 m. Question: Are water supply systems or aircraft refuelling facilities meant with this type of service?

The references required under III.2.3) Technical capability, item 1.4, relate to underground refuelling facilities for supplying aircraft fuel.
