The public invitation to tender involves a preliminary qualification competition. All candidates are therefore required to submit to the awarding authority and within the stated deadline the declarations and proofs required for the preliminary qualification competition as set out in the invitation to tender. The awarding authority will then examine and assess the tender applications in accordance with the requirements of the invitation to tender. Should the awarding authority’s scrutiny result in your being amongst the maximum five best candidates in the competition, the appropriate bidding documents will be sent to you along with a request for you to submit a bid. No bidding documents are ever sent out at the prequalification competition stage.
