Are we correct in thinking that the tender applications can be submitted by 10am, 24.03.2009, (Section IV; Award Procedure, IV.3.4) and that this does not refer to the receipt of bids?

The tender takes the form of a public invitation to tender with a preliminary qualification competition. During the preliminary qualification competition, therefore, no tender documents are provided. All documents, proofs and information etc you are required to submit along with your application to participate in the preliminary qualification competition are detailed in the invitation to tender published in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and posted on our website.

We are listed in the BBI bidder’s register of the Brandenburg Contract Advisory Agency (Auftragsberatungsstelle Brandenburg e.V.). The invitation to tender did not specify whether written confirmation of registration should be enclosed or whether this would influence our application to tender.

Unfortunately, confirmation of registration with the BBI contract advisory agency for Europe-wide tenders is not admissible. We kindly request you, therefore, to provide all proofs, documents and references set out in the invitation to tender. Submission of confirmation of registration with the contract advisory agency does not constitute evidence of the aforementioned required proofs, documents and references. We trust you will appreciate that the advisory agency’s confirmation of registration cannot be accepted on the basis of the equal treatment principle for Europe-wide tenders.

No. As stated in the published notice for this tender, no specific requirements exist with regard to the type of plastering and filling work performed. Potential bidders should, however, comply with the requirements relating to the scope of such plastering and filling work.
