Shops, Restaurants & Services
At the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport, customers can be excited for a variety of shopping opportunities including 39 food & beverage outlets and approx. 20 service outlets.
A central Market Place with around 35 retailers and four restaurant areas on the first level will encourage customers to browse and spend time. This amply sized area just beyond security control and the Duty-Paid Shop, which serves as the entrée to the Market Place will welcome all departing passengers (both Schengen and Non-Schengen).
The Duty-Paid and Duty-Free shops where customers can expect to purchase well-known premium brands at the very best prices are planned as “walk-through-concepts” and are located adjacent to Security Control in the Schengen area and just behind Passport Control in the Non-Schengen area.
The Food Court with seven restaurant areas covering a floor area of approx. 2,000 m², where passengers will be able to choose from a wide and varied range of food and beverages and can relax in the very heart of the terminal, will be reached directly from the Market Place, as it is centrally located on a gallery in the Schengen zone.
The retailers, restaurants, and bars in the piers continue the up-market concept of the central Market Place, offering a top quality shopping and dining experience.
The landside restaurants and bars will also meet the needs of people dropping off or welcoming relatives, friends, and business partners, as well as visitors and airport employees. Premium quality, variety, and fair prices are a key requirement here. The restaurants are located in the arrival zone as well as in the distribution level which connects the terminal to the railway station and the airport city.
The landside retail outlets perfectly cater for the needs of travelers, visitors, and employees, including books and newspapers, a bank, a pharmacy, and a supermarket, as well as a wide selection of travel agencies and rental car offices.
