Daily connection from Berlin Tegel / Second destination of Lufthansa's partner Air One, besides Milan
Since 1 October 2007, the Italian full-service airline Air One will be operating a daily flight from Berlin Tegel to Rome. This will be the second destination from Berlin to be added to Air One's flight schedule, besides Milan Linate. The flight to Rome Fiumicino Airport takes approximately two hours, departing from Tegel at 5.35 p.m. and landing in Rome at 7.35 p.m. The flight from Rome departs at 9.30 a.m., arriving at Tegel at 11.30 a.m. An Airbus A320 will be operated on this route from Monday to Friday and a Boeing 737 on weekends.
Air One also started offering a daily connection between Berlin Tegel and Milan Linate in its 2006 winter flight schedule. Milan is the airline's key airport, as well as Rome.

On 1 August, the Danish airline Cimber air will introduce its new daily service to Billund from Berlin Tegel. A 50-seater CRJ Regional jet will be in operation on the route and a light meal and drinks will be served free of charge on board. Situated in Jutland, south-central Denmark, some 70 kilometres north of the German border, Billund is famous for its Legoland amusement park. Legoland is the most popular attraction in Denmark outside Copenhagen.

Berlin to be the third year-round Iceland Express destination
From now on, Iceland fans from Berlin and the former East German states can fly to their dream destination in the Far North of Europe conveniently and at attractively low cost. Iceland Express, the country’s budget airline, has upgraded Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport to a year-round destination in the winter flight schedule 2007/08. “The route between Berlin-Schoenefeld and Reykyavik has proved so very popular over the past year that we have decided to make Berlin the third all-year destination in our route network – after London and Copenhagen,” says Matthias Imsland, CEO of Iceland Express. Under the current summer flight schedule, Iceland Express will be departing Berlin-Schoenefeld for the second-largest island state in Europe every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of August. During the high season, from 1 June until 31 August 2007, the low-cost carrier will additionally take off for Reykyavik every Monday. From 1 to 14 September, the flight days will change to Tuesday and Friday. Then, from 15 September 2007 onwards, services will continue without a break – always on Mondays and Fridays. The fare for a one-way flight with Iceland Express starts at 99 euros, including all taxes and charges, when booked online.

As of 18 May, a Germanwings Airbus A 319 will be commissioned by the German-Bulgarian airline "Sofia Air Lines" to fly weekly from Berlin-Schoenefeld to Sofia.
The flight will depart from Schoenefeld every Friday at 10.30 p.m. and land in Sofia at 1.55 a.m. The return flight will depart at 2.40 a.m. and land in Schoenefeld at 4.05 a.m. The Bulgarian tour operator "Mondo" is marketing the flights on behalf of "Sofia Air Lines" and is responsible for selling tickets and complete packages.
Ticket prices start at €97.30 for a return flight incl. taxes and charges. The ticket price includes standard catering.

From 25 March 2007, the low cost airline Jet2.Com will begin operating on the route Berlin Schönefeld – Manchester. The aim is to fly this route daily with a Boeing 737-300, and this will start in March with four flights a week. The evening flight is particularly interesting for business people who will thus be able to make full use of their time in Manchester. Bookings can be made on the website Jet2.Com.
As of 11 May, easyJet will once again be flying to Lisbon and Venice, thus expanding its route network from Berlin to 26 destinations.
Flights will operate to the Portuguese capital on weekdays at 8 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday as early as 7 a.m. and 7.35 a.m. respectively. The flight duration is just under 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Daily flights will operate to Venice on weekdays at 12.25 p.m. On Saturday, planes will depart from Schönefeld at 3.10 p.m., on Sunday as early as 9.10 a.m. Planes will land in the lagoon city after a flight duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
