Lift off (the roof) if you’re Berliners!

 

This slogan is used in the cooperation between Berlin Airports and the German Bundesliga football club Hertha BSC. Berlin Airports has a presence at every home game in the Olympic stadium: spectators arriving by car are directed to spaces by car park stewards with aircraft marshalling wands, wearing airport high-vis jackets.

The players run onto the pitch over a simulated runway with flashing lights, and the stadium announcements have an authentic airport atmosphere. The Berlin Airports presence is rounded off by a full page advertisement in the stadium magazine, HERTHANER, and pitch-side advertising.
