I don’t want to show off or anything, but did you know that we ants are the most successful insects around? Well, we are. You see, we don’t just do things in millions or billions, no, there are actually ten quadrillions of us above and below ground all over the world.

And that’s why it’s no wonder that ensuring supplies is right at the top of our agenda. This is also true of my girlfiend Antonia and I, which is why we are really pleased that since mid-October a new pipeline has been supplying us with drinking water.

Admittedly, the pipeline doesn’t just serve us, but also the new Capital City Airport BBI. But that doesn’t matter because 2000 cubic metres of drinking water a day would be a bit too much for Antonia and me. In fact, it’s enough to supply the needs of a small town with a population of 21,000 – people, though, not ants!

In peak times, the water utility Märkische Abwasser- und Trinkwasserzweckverband (MAWV) can even triple its supply to some 5500 cubic metres a day. So as far as drinking water is concerned, flight operations could already take off today at the new BBI Airport!
