Disorientation is something frequently associated with women, but I have to admit that I also suffer from that particular failing. Some days I can’t even tell left from right, so obviously I am very happy about the new traffic signs my lads have been putting up at the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport since mid-September.

Drive to the airport today and signs will direct you to the correct lanes for the terminal, the car park, the car hire centre and even for Airport City. Just don’t forget that the amenities the signs so temptingly announce are naturally far from being completed. After all, we still have eight months to go until the airport opens.

Incidentally, you can also take a look at our new visual identity on the traffic signs: white lettering on a deep-red background. It looks really smart. But more importantly, in future it will help our passengers to find their way and keep me and disoriented individuals like me from even dreaming of losing our way at and inside the airport.
