Who or what are "spotters"?
A spotter is a person whose hobby is watching for, photographing and noting numbers or types of planes (or trains). In doing so, it is important that the spotter actually sees and photographs the planes themselves. It is not enough to just copy others. Plane spotters can thus be found at major airports and accept the long journeys just to be able to photograph rare aeroplanes.
The Planeboys website offers a large selection of photos of aircraft and airlines that have landed in Berlin in the past or are still active at our airports. The photos are accompanied by a historic overview of air traffic in Berlin. Have fun browsing!
