Night flight restrictions (all times in local time)
Runway is closed for loud aircraft (Chapter 2) from 22:00 until 6:00. The runway is open 24h for Chapter 3 aircraft on the BMVBS bonus list (Federal Ministry of Transport, Construction and Urban Planning). In the event of unavoidable delays, aircraft may land until 1:00. Aircraft that are not on the bonus list are not permitted to operate between 24:00 and 6:00. A general night flight prohibition applies in Tegel from 23:00 until 6:00. The only exceptions are night mail aircraft and special flights with specific clearance. Regular scheduled flights are prohibited between 0:00 and 5:00. Between 5:00 and 6:00 and between 23:00 and 24:00 a maximum average of 31 aircraft movements is permitted. Between 23:30 and 24:00 and from 5:00 until 5:30 no scheduled flights may take place. These times are reserved for flights that are delayed or have arrived early.
