As of 25 March, the newly established Dutch airline Maastricht Airlines will be flying to Maastricht. The flights to Maastricht Aachen Airport will depart daily (except Saturdays) from Tegel Airport. Due to its location in the Three Countries' Corner of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, Maastricht Aachen Airport also serves travellers from neighbouring countries. The route will be served by a Fokker 50 aircraft.

As the oldest city in the Netherlands, visitors will find lots to explore in Maastricht. A tram ride through the historic city centre on the 'Stadstram' will give tourists an overview of the city's sightseeing attractions. Active holidaymakers can also explore the capital of the region of Limburg by kayak or take a mountain bike tour to the grottos below the city.
