Greece’s largest airline will be flying three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Berlin-Tegel to Athens. In a little over three hours passengers can step out into the Aegean sun.

Aegean Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance. From Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport the airline offers connecting flights to twelve other destinations in Greece, including Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Kos as well as Larnaca on Cyprus.

As well as being the cradle of democracy, Greece also has a wonderfully mild climate. The capital city, Athens, with a population of 4 million in the metropolitan area, is the economic and cultural centre of the country. The city’s world-famous landmark, the Acropolis, stands tall over the city, which is located on a large plain in Attica region and attracts millions of tourists every year.
