Fly Germanwings to Turkey
This winter, German low-cost airline Germanwings will start operating flights to two new destinations in Turkey. Starting on 2 November 2013, the airline will depart from Tegel Airport for Ankara every Saturday. As of 5 November 2013, two weekly flights will also be operated from Tegel to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul.

With a population of more than 13 million, Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey. The Bosphorus strait divides the city into a European and Asian part – a phenomenon that is unique the world over. Istanbul offers an abundance of cultural monuments, including the famous Hagia Sophia and the Süleymaniye Mosque. While Istanbul stands for culture, fashion and joie de vivre, the capital Ankara is the country's political hub. Especially worth seeing is the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations housed in an old Ottoman bazaar storage building.
