Qatar Airways deploys Airbus A330-200 on route from and to BerlinBerlin, 15.10.2013
Qatar Airways is expanding its Berlin capacities from 1 December 2013: on all seven of its weekly flights in each direction from and to Berlin the airline will be operating a wide-body A330-200 instead of the Airbus A320 used so far. Furthermore, all passengers will benefit from improved comfort on board. Every passenger will have a personal screen at their disposal with on-demand access to an interactive entertainment system offering more than 1000 different entertainment options.
“We are delighted with Qatar Airways’ decision to serve the Berlin – Doha route with an A330 from December 1. Not only is Qatar Airways thus satisfying the continuously growing market of the capital region – it also shows the airline’s confidence in Berlin as a business location,” says Hartmut Mehdorn, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, Qatar Airways flies from Berlin Tegel at 21:05. On these days the Airbus A330-200 departs Doha for the German capital at 14:20. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the wide-body aircraft takes off in Berlin at 15:25 and in Doha at 08:15.
