With Ryanair to the "Wild Atlantic Way"05.04.2014
On 4 April the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair launched a new service connecting Berlin-Schönefeld Airport with Shannon Airport in Ireland. The service will be flown twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. Alongside Dublin, this is the second service from Berlin to the Emerald Isle and it is a great addition for visitors planning round trips to Ireland. Ryanair’s summer flight schedule includes six services from Berlin.
Shannon Airport is located in the south-west of Ireland, approximately two kilometres away from the small town of Shannon. The new service offers travellers to Ireland unique and very convenient access to the Wild Atlantic Way, a network of roads and hiking paths that extends along the west coast of Ireland. Larger towns in the region include Limerick, which is only 24 kilometres distance, and the famous town of Galway, which is less than 90 kilometres from Shannon. Galway attracts many thousands of tourists every year with its festivals, sights and numerous pubs and bars.
