Airport Night Run 201407.04.2014
BER will once again become a one-of-a-kind course for about 4,000 enthusiastic runners on 12 April. The starting shot for the race will be fired in the evening hours. The lighting on South Runway and the aprons as well as the light in the terminal promise a very special atmosphere in the twilight.
Runners can decide whether they want to run a half-marathon or a 10-kilometre course; the third option is power walking over 10 kilometres. The half-marathon begins at 7 p.m.; the participants over the 10-kilometre course will step up to the starting line at 8 p.m. A warm-up session of moderate exercises will be offered in the starting area half an hour before the start of each race.
The Airport Night Run is being organised by BERLIN LÄUFT. Online registration will be possible until 08 April. Later registrations will be possible only at the late registration counter where the participation documents are handed out and will be accepted at the event venue until one hour before the start; payment must be made in cash or by EC card. Additional information is available at:
The event area is in the Service Area South of Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Dressing rooms and showers will be provided to the runners. It is possible for people to bring their cars because parking spaces will be available on the site. However, we recommend car-pooling or taking public transport. Shuttle buses will run between the S-Bahn train station Berlin-Schönefeld Airport and the event grounds between 3 p.m. and midnight.
