Ryanair is celebrating 15 years in Germany and 11 years in Berlin and wishes to thank its passengers. Starting off with around 90,000 passengers to and from Germany in 1999, passenger volume developed strongly over the years. Ryanair today flies to 12 airports in Germany and is expecting 8.6 million passengers in 2014.
On May 1, Ryanair celebrated its 11-year anniversary in Berlin. The airline commenced flight operations in Berlin in 2003 with the connection to London Stansted. Meanwhile the Irish carrier offers six connections from Berlin Schönefeld to Norway (Oslo Rygge), Ireland (Dublin and Shannon), Italy (Milan Bergamo) and Great Britain (London Stansted and East Midlands).
To celebrate its anniversary, the Irish carrier is offering special rates for the route to Oslo Rygge from Berlin Schönefeld. Tickets for the single flight cost 15 euros* and can be booked from May 12 to May 19, 2014, midnight. Flights must take place in June 2014.
