With its culture and countless attractions, like the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square, Beijing is a very enticing destination. From July to October, Hainan Airlines is offering five instead of four weekly connections from Berlin to China’s capital. In addition to the regular flights departing Berlin Tegel on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the airline is offering a Saturday flight. This will appear on the airline’s Berlin flight schedule for the first time on 5 July. The aircraft with the flight number HU490 take off from Berlin Tegel at 19:30 and land in Beijing the next day at 10:30. The return flight with the number HU489 departs Beijing on the same days of the week at 13:30 and arrives at Tegel at 17:30.
What is more, larger aircraft will be operated on the Berlin-Beijing route. Instead of the A330-200, the route this summer will be served by an A330-300. The flight time is just 9.5 hours non-stop. Business class and economy class are available on all flights, and the total weekly capacity will increase by 428 seats.
Business class in the Airbus A330-300 from Berlin to Beijing is furnished with ergonomic reclining seats with a tilt angle of 180 degrees and a built-in massage function. The 163-centimetre seat pitch provides great legroom. For passenger entertainment there are LCD touch screens, more than 50 TV channels and radio stations, games, a telephone, and dimmable reading lights. Adjustable screens between the seats provide passengers with privacy. Included in the service are exclusive menus with a choice of Western or Asian dishes and a baggage allowance of two hold items and two hand luggage items.
