Adria Airways begins flying from Berlin Tegel AirportBerlin, 24.04.2015
On 24 April 2015, the airline began flying from Berlin Tegel, connecting the German capital with the Slovenian capital city Ljubljana. Adria Airways is flying a total of three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – to the very heart of Slovenia. On this route, the airline is operating aircraft of type Bombardier CRJ900, with a capacity of 90 passengers.
Ljubljana Airport (LJU) is Slovenia’s biggest airport and is situated around 26 kilometres north of the city centre. Passengers can use an hourly shuttle bus service to reach the airport from the city centre.
Ljubljana, with a population of 280,000, melds five thousand years of history and tradition with vibrant student life. The remains of the Roman city Emona, the well-preserved historical part of town, the medieval castle on the Castle Hill, and other periods of history all define the cityscape. With 65,000 students, the university in Ljubljana is one of the biggest in Europe.
