Due to industrial action planned by German train drivers, passengers are warned that they may encounter delays travelling to Schönefeld and Tegel airports. The German train drivers’ union GDL has announced a further round of strikes between Tuesday (5 May 2015, 2.00 am) and Sunday (10 May 2015, 9.00 am). These strikes will affect the S-Bahn local trains and Deutsche Bahn’s regional and intercity services. Due to the duration of the strike passengers are warned that they may face considerable disruption to rail services across Germany. Please note that the strike is also likely to lead to increased numbers of passengers at airports.
