Get through security faster23.10.2015
Passengers at Berlin-Tegel Airport can now use a fully automated boarding card scanner. New eGates have been installed in Terminals C1, C2 and D and are supremely easy to use for passengers. The boarding card is placed above a sensor in the device and is scanned. If all the data on the boarding card is correct then the glass gates will open and the passengers can proceed to security screening.
The whole process takes only seconds and it works with boarding cards issued at the check-in counter, print-at-home boarding cards and electronic cards. Airport staff will be on hand at the scanners to help passengers and answer any queries.
