Wizz Air set to fly from SXF as of the 2016 summer flight schedule11.12.2015
The airport company looks forward to further growth at Schönefeld Airport on 21 March 2016 with the addition of Eastern Europe’s biggest low-cost airline: Wizz Air. The Hungarian airline will start offering two weekly flights – every Tuesday and Sunday – between Berlin and the capital of Macedonia, with a further two weekly flights – every Monday and Friday – to Cluj-Napoca in Romania set to follow as of 22 July 2016.
Established in 2003, Wizz Air has become one of the most important low-cost airlines in Central and Eastern Europe in just a few years. Berlin Schönefeld will be the eighth German airport to be added to the airline’s route network.
