Improved bus services to Tegel Airport

Berlin’s public transport company BVG is improving its bus services to Tegel Airport as from 3 April. The first X9 bus (S+U Zoologischer Garten – Flughafen Tegel) will reach Tegel as early as 3:30 and will run every 10 minutes after this. The frequency changes at a glance: 

Bus TXL (S+U Alexanderplatz – Flughafen Tegel)

  • As from 3 April, the first TXL bus arrives at the airport at 4:07 and will run every 10 minutes from the start of service
  • The timetable has been coordinated with the S-Bahn service running from the S-Bahn station Beusselstraße
  • Weekdays the buses run from 6:30 every 6-7 minutes (on Saturdays from 7:30; Sundays from 9:30)
  • Every day, except for Saturday, the buses now run every 6-7 minutes until 23:30
  • The buses now also stop at Invalidenpark, the bus stop at Kleiner Tiergarten is no longer in service 

Bus X9 (S+U Zoologischer Garten – Flughafen Tegel)

  • As from 3 April, the first X9 bus arrives at the airport at 3:30 and will run every 10 minutes from the start of service
  • Every day, except for Saturday, the buses now run every 6-7 minutes until 23:30

 Bus 109 (S+U Zoologischer Garten – Flughafen Tegel)

Bus service 109 will also run every 6-7 minutes until 23:30 every day except for Saturday as from 3 April
