airberlin continues expanding its selection of long-haul routes from Tegel07.04.2016
This coming winter 2016/17, airberlin will be significantly expanding its selection of long-haul flights. Germany’s second biggest airline will be stationing a further A330-200 aircraft at Tegel Airport. On the Berlin to Miami route, the service frequency will be doubled from two to four flights per week, compared with winter 2015/16. With an additional connection on Tuesdays, the airline will be flying to New York on a daily basis this coming winter. The route to Chicago will also be expanded on the winter schedule when airberlin adds a Thursday flight, resulting in five flights a week. airberlin will thus be flying 16 times a week via Berlin to three destinations in the USA this winter, namely Chicago, New York and Miami. The airline will furthermore be resuming its service to Punta Cana from Berlin. The red-and-white jets will head for the Dominican Republic every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
