SprintAir commences new route to Radom18.04.2016
SprintAir has been flying from Berlin-Tegel to Radom since 18 April. The Polish city is around 100 kilometres south of the capital, Warsaw. Twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, the route is served by Saab 340 aircraft, offering seats for 33 passengers and requiring approx. one hour 45 minutes for the 550-kilometre flight from Poland to Germany and an hour 35 minutes from Germany to Poland. On both days, flights depart Radom at 08:00 and land in Berlin at 09:45. Flights from Tegel to Radom depart at 16:55 and arrive at 18:30.
Prices for a one-way ticket with SprintAir from Berlin-Tegel to Radom start at 149 Złoty (PLN), which corresponds with approx. 38 Euro. The airport is 4 kilometres to the south-east of the city and offers good bus connections to the centre of Radom.
Radom is located in the Masovian Voivodship in Central Poland. The largest and most prosperous region of the country covers the area around the capital of Warsaw. One highlight for aviation fans is represented by the biannual Radom Air Show which last took place in 2015 and focuses on military aircraft from all over Europe. Many of the aircraft from a wide variety of countries are involved in impressive flights displays in Radom.
