Fly to the heart of London with British Airways20.06.2016
British Airways is now offering 16 direct flights a week from Berlin-Tegel to the conveniently located London City Airport (LCY). Flight times are tailored to the requirements of business and holiday travellers. A morning, afternoon and evening flight is offered every day from Monday to Friday. One evening flight is offered on Sundays. The route is served by an Embraer jet with seats for 98 passengers. Flying time is around one hour and 45 minutes. The new direct connection offered by British Airways is very interesting for business travellers in particular. Travel time from Berlin-Tegel to the centre of London is significantly reduced. British Airways is also offering a new flight to Stansted Airport (north-east of London) with return flights to Berlin on Sundays.
London City Airport
London City Airport is the only airport in London which is located within the metropolitan area. London’s financial district, numerous sights and the popular East End are within easy reach. Passengers travelling with hand luggage require an average of five minutes from the aircraft to the terminal exit, with modern “e-Passport Gates” making a major contribution to this efficiency. But even passengers who have checked in luggage using conventional entry facilities only require an average of fifteen minutes on arrival. London City Airport has received several awards: e.g. best airport in London, best airport in Europe, most punctual airport in Great Britain, the National Responsible Business Champion Award.
