Four new easyJet destinations for the Winter Flight Schedule30.06.2016
easyJet is expanding its route network from Berlin. For the Winter Flight Schedule 2016/2017 the airline is adding four new destinations to its Berlin schedule. The new services from Berlin-Schönefeld are Zurich (Switzerland), Marseille (France), Newcastle (United Kingdom) and La Palma (Canary Islands, Spain). This expansion has been made possible by airline increasing its fleet at Schönefeld. In April 2016, easyJet based its tenth aircraft here.
The new routes
As from 31 October 2016, easyJet will be flying to Zurich Airport daily except for Saturdays. The airline’s orange-liveried aircraft will be taking off for Marseille and Newcastle on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting on 1 November 2016. On the same day, the airline launches a twice-weekly service to the Canary island of La Palma on Thursdays and Saturdays.
easyJet is also increasing flight frequency on many services. In future, the airline will be heading for London’s Luton Airport 26 times a week, and in the winter there will be 16 weekly flights to Vienna.
