Driving to SXF Airport: roadworks on the A11307.07.2016
Motorists are advised to expect delays when travelling to and from Schönefeld Airport via the A113 motorway between 9 July and 3 September. Passengers planning to travel to or from the airport by car should allow extra time for their journey.
The A113 is being resurfaced between the junctions Späthstraße and Adlershof. For the duration of the roadworks, two lanes in either direction will be open, and a speed limit of 60 km/h will be in place. Until 3 August, the southbound carriageway will be resurfaced, and from 4 August work will start on the northbound carriageway to the city. This work is necessary to repair parts of the concrete surface of the motorway that had been damaged by an alkali-silica reaction and which are being replaced by asphalt or concrete.
Closure of the junctions Stubenrauchstraße and Adlershof
Junction Stubenrauchstraße will remain closed for the entire duration of the work. The north exit (to and from Hamburg) of junction Adlershof will also be closed. Diversions will be signposted.
