Service information for Berlin-Schönefeld Airport
Getting to the airport
Travellers who plan to drive to Schönefeld Airport via the A113 motorway are advised to allow extra time to reach the airport. Until 3 September, the A113 is being resurfaced between the junctions Späthstraße and Adlershof. For the duration of the roadworks, two lanes in either direction will be open, and a speed limit of 60 km/h will be in place.
New car park
Since 1 July 2016, passengers have had access to a new car park. Car park P3 is located directly in front of the terminal of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Subject to availability, spaces can be pre-booked there online for a little as €39 per week. A free shuttle bus runs between the car park and Schönefeld Airport every 15-30 minutes. The journey time is approximately 10 minutes. Motorists are advised to pre-book a parking space at http://parken.berlin-airport.de/.
Expansion of Schönefeld Airport
In order to keep pace with rising passenger figures at Schönefeld Airport, Terminal B is currently being expanded by 600 square metres on the landside. To the west of Terminal D, the new arrivals Terminal D2 is being built. This work will not cause any delays for passengers accessing the terminals.
