You can now fly more often from Berlin to the city of love – with the addition of the Aigle Azur airline to Tegel. The French airline, whose name translates to "Blue Eagle“, will now fly from Berlin to Paris every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. In a flight time of just under two hours you can be at Paris-Orly, the smaller of the two Parisian airports, thanks to aircraft model A320. From there travellers can easily reach the city centre, around 10 kilometres away, via suburban railway, bus or taxi.

Paris is considered to be the city of romance, art and fashion. The French capital’s atmosphere is epitomised by joie de vivre and enjoyment. Foodies rave about the baguettes, wine, cheese and croissants. In Paris alone, ten restaurants that have each been awarded three Michelin stars beckon. It’s no wonder that their frequenters speak of "living like God in France". However, the multifaceted city on the Seine has much more than this to offer. Forever the political and cultural centre of France, the metropolis captivates millions of tourists each year. It fascinates with extraordinary historical buildings such as the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palace of Versailles. The art and cultural landscape boasts around 200 galleries, 100 theatres and more than 160 museums, including the world-famous Louvre. Families enjoy Disneyland Paris or Europe’s largest zoo, while fashion lovers flock to the exclusive boutiques. The diverse city of Paris has something to offer for everyone and is definitely worth a visit, whether for a weekend trip or adult getaway.
