Aircraft in Berlin
Berlin Brandenburg Airport is served regularly by approx. 75 different airlines. Extraordinary aircraft such as the world's biggest cargo plane, the Antonov An-225, or the biggest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, often make guest appearances.
An Air France Boeing 777-328 (ER)
An unusual guest in Tegel: a technical problem en route from Paris to Beijing caused the Air France crew to land in Berlin in January 2012. With a seating capacity of up to 550 passengers and a range of 14,500 km, the Boeing 777-328 (ER) – often called the Triple Seven – is the backbone of the long-haul fleet of many airlines. The largest twin-engined commercial plane is 64.80 metres long.
