The Federal Administrative Court published the written grounds for the BBI ruling today.

The Federal Administrative Court published the written grounds for the BBI ruling today.

Dr Rainer Schwarz, CEO at Berlin Airports, responded: “The grounds for the ruling comprise 260 pages, and we will now have to analyse them very carefully. We will then determine the flight requirements during the early mornings and late evenings specified by the court in conjunction with our customers, the airlines. Then we will pass on these requirements to the authority responsible for the official approval of the plans as the basis for achieving a final ruling on flight times”.

As reported, the Federal Administrative Court gave the go-ahead for the new Berlin capital’s Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BBI) based at Schönefeld Airport on 16th March 2006 in a final ruling that cannot be challenged in the courts.
