With the start of the new summer flight schedule 2008, the German-Turkish airline SunExpress will be extending its services from Berlin by adding a thrice-weekly service from Berlin-Schoenefeld to the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. The new service enables travellers to fly direct from Berlin to the largest Turkish city, as well as the services to Izmir, Antalya and Bodrum that are already available. The new SunExpress service departs and arrives at Sabiha Gökcen International Airport (Istanbul SAW), which is located on the Asian side of the city. It is easy to get from the airport to the city centre, making the airport a great place to start sightseeing and shopping tours in one of the most vibrant modern cities.
SunExpress services to Istanbul depart on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from Berlin-Schoenefeld to Istanbul SAW. The flight from Berlin-Schoenefeld departs at 02:55 hrs and arrives in Istanbul SAW at 06:35 hrs. The return flight from Istanbul SAW departs at 00:10 hrs and lands in Schoenefeld at 02:05 hrs.
All SunExpress flights can be booked through www.sunexpress.com or by telephone on +49 (0)1805/ 959590 (calls from the Deutsche Telekom’s landline network are charged at €.14/min).
