Dr Rainer Schwarz, CEO of Berlin Airports, also reports positively on the situation after three years of Delta Air Lines in Berlin: “300,000 Delta passengers show that the connection from Berlin to New York is particularly popular with business travellers. Berlin is an extremely interesting market for intercontinental connections”.
The flight takes off from Berlin at 11.25 am and reaches its destination New York at 1.40 pm local time. The departure from the USA is at 7.25 pm; the arrival in Tegel is at 9.40 am on the following day.
Delta Air Lines offers daily flights with a 204-seat Boeing B767-300ER to New York/John F Kennedy. Both seats in Economy and BusinessElite class are available. In autumn 2007, the two SkyTeam airlines Air France und Delta Air Lines founded a joint venture: Since 1 April 2008, all non-stop connections that are offered by Delta Air Lines from Germany to the USA are also offered as Air France flights with a corresponding code-share flight number.
