InterSky moves to Tegel

The airline will be moving from Tempelhof to Tegel Airport at the beginning of the Winter Flight Schedule 2008/09 / Flight times remain unchanged
The start of the Winter Flight Schedule 2008/09 will see an important change for the Lake Constance airline InterSky: InterSky will be staying in Berlin but moving to a different airport. From 26 October, the airline will be offering services from Friedrichshafen (Lake Constance) and Graz to Berlin Tegel, Terminal C. The flight times for the ‘new’ services remain unchanged.

“Tegel is an excellent and convenient alternative which remains very appealing for our business customers,” says InterSky managing director Claus Bernatzik. “For us it was particularly important to retain our established flight times.”

“We are delighted that InterSky remains committed to Berlin as a key aviation site,” says Burkhard Kieker, head of marketing and corporate communications at Berlin Airports. “The airline’s relocation to Tegel Airport means that

InterFly can continue to offer its services to and from Berlin when the Winter Flight Schedule starts.” InterFly will be flying five times a week from Graz to Tegel Airport, and there will be up to three daily services from Friedrichshafen. Both of these routes retain their established time slots.

InterSky Luftfahrt GmbH, headquartered in Bregenz at Lake Constance (Austria), started operating in March 2002. The low-fare airline focuses on the region around Lake Constance. In 2007, InterSky reported sales of €23 million and last year transported more than 180,000 passengers.

InterSky flights can be booked through the company’s website, www.intersky.biz, or through the call centre on +0049 (0)7541 2869684.
