Extension of Terminal C at Tegel opens

Terminal extension opens for business / Non-Schengen traffic handled in Terminal C
Berlin Airports today opened the extension of Terminal C at Tegel Airport. The building is to be used to handle the majority of non-Schengen traffic to Russia and Turkey. Airberlin, Germania and other airlines that fly to destinations in non-Schengen countries will be using the new Terminal C extension to handle their passengers.

The new terminal features signs in Russian, Turkish and Chinese and was specially designed with the needs of the main target group in mind. Inside the security zone there is a food services area and a duty-free/Travel Value shop.

Passengers can get to the terminal from Car Park P5 and the short-term car park C. Both car parks are free of charge for the first 20 minutes of use.
