Passengers can watch Women's World Cup Football live at Tegel Airport

Passengers waiting for a flight at Tegal Airport over the coming weeks can make the time just fly by with soccer: the 2011 FIFA World Cup Football matches will be shown on 21 screens.

All 32 World Cup matches televised by the ARD and ZDF TV channels will be shown in Terminals A, B and D – with sound. Passengers will therefore be able to enjoy at least 2,880 minutes of live soccer.

The first match – in which Nigeria and France meet – will be broadcast on Sunday 26th June at 3:00 pm. Passengers can watch the final, which will hopefully include the German team, on 17th July at 8:45 pm in Tegel.

Berlin Airports wishes the German women’s national football team the greatest of success in their endeavour to defend their title.
