Aegean Airlines connects Berlin directly with Athens

As of today, the Greek airline Aegean Airlines will be flying three times a week nonstop from Berlin to Athens. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays the aircraft take off at 10:45am from Tegel Airport and land at 2:40pm at Athens International Airport. From here, the return flights to Berlin leave the following day at 8:10am and arrive in Tegel at 10:05am. Aegean Airlines will be operating this route with an Airbus A320.

Visitors to Athens immediately sense the city’s vibrant mixture of the past and the present. Despite the city’s venerable age, the streets of Athens pulsate with life. The country’s many typical national delicacies are served in lively taverns and the historical market halls beneath the Acropolis. On the outskirts of the old city centre the mighty columns of the Temple of Olympian Zeus are an impressive sight. At the heart of the Mediterranean metropolis the National Park is an oasis of shade and peace. Visitors to Athens who want to enjoy both culture and a bathing holiday have a choice of several seaside resorts. The beaches of Vouliagmeni, Vari, Saronida and Thimari on the Aegean Sea are great places for an excursion.

Aegean Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance. At Athens International Airport the airline offers connecting flights to twelve other destinations in Greece, including Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Kos as well as Larnaca on Cyprus.
