Children's holiday programme - A day at the airport

Once again this year, the airport company has put together a holiday programme for children. Together with their parents, grandparents or friends, interested children can experience a day up close at Schönefeld Airport. Groups from holiday camps and individuals are also very welcome.

The day at the airport begins at 9.30 a.m. in Terminal C in Schönefeld. Then it's on to the Lufthansa aircraft hangar, amongst others. Other items on the agenda include checking out a 'Piper Seneca' small aircraft and visiting the airport's fire service and the federal police. Children will also be taken on a bus tour of Schönefeld Airport, visit the airport terminal and go on the visitors' terrace – where they will be able to watch aircraft taking off and landing. A visit to the BER Infotower is also on the agenda. The day at the airport ends at around 3 p.m.

The summer holiday promotion will be held weekdays until 3 August 2013 and costs €19 per person – including a packed lunch and snack. Participants must book in advance. Reservations can be made from Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. by calling +49 30 6091-77770. Places are available particularly in the second half of July.
