Restaurants, bars and cafes at Tegel Airport: Improved offerings for passengers.

30.10.2013
Passengers at Tegel Airport can now look forward to even more restaurants, bars and cafes, with concepts such as 'auf die hand', 'Augustiner Bierbar', 'Berliner Pilsner Bar', 'Berlin Coffee', 'Coffee Fellows', 'NU made with love' or 'Pellegrini' offering a wide assortment of snacks and beverages for inbound and outbound passengers. The new tenants can be found on Tegel Boulevard or at individual departure gates.

Dr. Norbert Minhorst, Head of Non-Aviation Management: 'We are delighted to be able to offer passengers at Tegel Airport an even greater choice of restaurants, bars and cafes thanks to our new tenants. We are particularly proud of some of the typical Berlin concepts such as "auf die hand" and "NU made with love". All tenants are long-term partners and can also be found at the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport.'

The new restaurants at Tegel Airport:

auf die hand

Fast and fresh food every day – as a healthy pre-flight snack or to take on the plane. 'auf die hand' offers delicious Italian coffee specialities as well as a fine selection of cakes, pastries, salads and desserts – all home-made and prepared with love by its team of cooks. auf die hand, Terminal A, airside, Gate 10/11

Augustiner Bierbar

Located landside in Terminal C, the 120-seat 'Augustiner Bierbar' has been catering to passengers since October 2013 with a wide selection of typical Bavarian and Upper Austrian alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, its own brand coffee Laggner as well as an assortment of hot and cold snacks such as veal sausages or pretzels. Berliner Pilsner Bar

No other beer is part of Berlin like Berliner Pilsner. Since launching, the brand has constantly evolved and reinvented itself – much like the city of Berlin. Besides an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, the Berliner Pilsner Bar also offers a range of delicious hot drinks and hearty snacks. Berlin Coffee

Berlin Coffee is a young and ambitious cafe concept, characterised by its outstanding quality, exceptional service and modern architecture. Made from 100% arabica beans, the coffee is freshly roasted every day with great precision and care in a Berlin coffee factory. Enjoy a great-tasting coffee prior to departure or buy some coffee beans to take home or as a gift. Berlin Coffee, Terminal A, airside, Gate 8

Coffee Fellows

Passengers can find Coffee Fellows on Tegel Boulevard. The new Coffee Fellows offers guests a large assortment of freshly brewed coffee specialities, frappés, shakes and freshly made bagels. Coffee Fellows, Terminal A, Tegel Boulevard

NU made with love

The makers of 'NU Port' have been running the NU restaurant in Charlottenburg – a culinary highlight on Berlin's Asian food scene – since August 2004. All passengers at Tegel can now make their time in departures fly by with a coffee, cake or delicious sandwich in the 'NU made with love'. NU stands for modern, international cuisine without additives. NU made with love, Terminal A, airside, Gate 4/5

Pellegrini – illy bar

Offering a wonderful, traditional Italian coffee house ambience, 'Pellegrini' combines the characteristics of an informal eatery with the advantages of Italian dining culture. Enjoy fresh, light and great-tasting food to suit all palates – to eat in or take away.

The Italian papermaker offers a fantastic range of paper products, stylish leather collections and writing utensils from German and Italian brands. Italian design combined with exquisite materials and craftsmanship represent a centuries-old tradition. Fabriano Boutique, Terminal C, airside
