Anniversary Airport Night Run on 9 April: In 2016 for the first time with a 10-mile relay

10.02.2016

The date for the 10th Airport Night Run has been set: on Saturday, 9 April 2016, Berlin Brandenburg Airport will become a running course for a day. For the anniversary run, the start and finish areas beneath the terminal roof will be relocated to the BER arrivals and drop-off area. Alongside the half-marathon and 10-kilometre run, the event organizer Golazo Sports GmbH is for the first time offering a 10-mile relay in which teams run 4x4 kilometres.

The half-marathon will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the 10-kilometre run and relay race will start at 7:30 p.m. In the twilight, the participants will run on taxiways, beneath passenger boarding bridges, and past illuminated terminal buildings. The two longer courses will furthermore take them on the illuminated South Runway of the BER, which is currently not operational.

Early bird and group discounts

Runners who register by 14 February pay a reduced entry fee of 30 euros for the half-marathon, 18 euros for the 10-kilometre distance, and 36 euros for the entire relay.
