New connection to Bodrum with Germania: Germania celebrates its 30th anniversary


Germania added a new flight to Bodrum on 5 May 2016. The seaside resort in south-western Turkey will be served from Schönefeld every Thursday. Flights depart from Schönefeld at 12:20 and arrive in Bodrum at 16:20. Return flights from Bodrum to Schönefeld depart at 17:05 and arrive at 19:30.

Germania is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Established in Cologne, the airline’s maiden flight was in 1986. Berlin was included in the flight schedule in 1991 followed by the airline relocating entirely to the German capital. 2012 saw Germania move into the new hangar at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Flight operations were relocated from Tegel to Schönefeld in 2013. Around 150,000 passengers flew with Germania from Schönefeld in 2015. The flight schedule includes four flights a week to Beirut, two flights each to Ibiza, Paphos and Teheran. Burgas and Bodrum are each served once a week.
