Easter holidays 2018: Travel tips for Schönefeld and Tegel Airport

21.03.2018

As the Easter holidays in Berlin and Brandenburg begin, Schönefeld and Tegel airports can count on an increased footfall. The airport company estimates to cater to more than 1.5 million passengers over both holiday weeks (24th March – 8th April). At the start of the holiday period alone (24th – 26th March), both airports expect around 2,100 flights with an estimated 265,000 guests.

General Service Tips

Due to the high level of traffic, passengers are recommended to inform themselves about their flight status and luggage regulations online or via telephone, as well as make use of the free online check-in services offered by many airlines. Passengers are further advised to arrive at the airport early and pass through security as quickly as possible.
