Careers Fair Get to know a varied job market at the airport

At the very first careers fair in the DIALOG-FORUM building (Mittelstraße 11, 12529 Schönefeld) on 5th June from 9:30 to 17:00, students have the opportunity to get to know the fascinating job market at the airport.

On national Diversity Day, the airport company presents the variety of apprenticeships and study opportunities in the airport region. Several partners from the industry give an insight into their apprenticeships and development prospects at their exhibition stands:

Aside from young people, parents and educators are warmly welcomed. It is not necessary to book.

Dr. Manfred Bobke-von Camen, Chief Human Resources Officer at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “Whether creative mind or technical talent, the job market at the airport is a great prospect for young people with a range of interests and talents. The variety of apprenticeships and opportunities for study at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH and the numerous firms surrounding the airports will be presented to the students at the careers fair.”


Currently, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH offers seven apprenticeships at Tegel and Schönefeld airports with technical or commercial focus, as well as five dual courses of study. At the careers fair the apprenticeship “Fachkraft für Schutz und Sicherheit“ (Safety and Protection Specialist) will also be introduced.


At 10:00 Peter Toepper, Director of Human Resources at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, and Rosemarie Meichsner, Director of Local Work and Diversity Representative of Flughafen Berln Brandeburg GmbH, will officially open the event.

Media representatives are warmly welcomed to report on location. Following the opening (approximately 10:15), Peter Toepper, Director of Human Resources at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH and Rosmarie Meichsner, Director of Local Work and Diversity Representative will be available for interviews.
