App for iOS and Android

The official iPhone and Android apps for Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) and Berlin Tegel (TXL) airports provide passengers and people collecting passengers with comprehensive information about flights and the services at the airport.

Mobile website

If you open the address on an Internet-enabled mobile cellular device / smartphone, you will generally be redirected to the mobile version of the website. This website has been optimised for mobile use and presents information in a more concise format for viewing while on the go. Similar to the full desktop version, the mobile home page displays the live flight status search tool centrally on the page for looking up arrivals and departures. Notification service by text message and email

We have teamed up with flyamo to provide you with a free notification service, so regardless of whether you are a passenger or are coming to the airport to collect someone you can be kept informed of the latest flight status by text message or email, wherever you are. The notifications inform you about the expected departure or arrival time, possible delays and other changes as well as about the terminal, check-in desk and gate. You can activate the service after first selecting the relevant flight in the “Arrivals and departures” or “Travel planning” section and then clicking on the SMS text message symbol or the respectively labelled button.

Please note that the SMS text messaging service is only available on our German website since the sending of SMS messages is only intended for the German cellular network. The free flight-status information sent by text message or email is a service provided by flyamo GmbH.  


With our Twitter service account @berlinairport we provide information on airport operations in Schönefeld and Tegel in real time 24/7 and are pleased to answer your questions. In short messages called Tweets, which are no longer than 140 characters, we provide service information in German and English and reply to your enquiries. You can use Twitter on stationary desktop computers as well as on mobile devices.
