To and from the airport

Arriving by car

If you are traveling to Tegel Airport by car, a number of parking spaces reserved for persons with reduced mobility are available on arrival. These can be found here:

  • Car park P2 (six spaces)
  • Car park P5 (five spaces)
  • Short-Stay car park (two spaces)

Travelers or visitors with reduced mobility, who have a disabled person's pass with the "G", "aG", "B" or "BL" qualifiers to it, and a blue or orange parking permit are entitled to free parking for up to an hour. Upon the presentation of your disability documents, you can receive a 50% discount on the valid parking charges for longer stays. Further discounts on charges that have already been reduced for online parking reservations are not possible.

Please place your EU "Blue Badge" or orange parking permit behind your vehicle's windscreen so that it is clearly visible.

To be able to use the one-hour grace period or the discount, please get in contact with a representative of our parking office in the car rental center in front of the P2 car park. You can use the intercom system at the pay stations for this purpose.

Arriving / departing by bus

Approach
There are several bus services that run from Tegel Airport to the city centre of Berlin. The airport is excellently connected to the Berlin public transport network. The four BVG (Berlin public transport) bus stops are located directly in front of Terminals A and B. The intercity bus to Dresden stops close to terminal E (lower level).
