Visitors’ terrace at Tegel closed

Here's where the air traffic controllers work
The visitors’ terrace at Tegel Airport will be inaccessible on 25, 26 and 27 September 2013. Access during this period is not possible due to planned maintenance work on the terrace.

All aviation fans wishing to experience the airport atmosphere and observe aircraft from all over the world taking off and landing will be able to do so again from Saturday 28 September 2013, when we expect to be able to reopen the visitors’ terrace.

The visitors’ terrace is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until the end of October; from November to March, it is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The terrace will be closed, however, during poor weather or in case of unforeseen circumstances. We therefore kindly ask you to inform yourself beforehand using our airport information facilities.
